“I was looking for something to help me overcome a block I had as a musician. I had been feeling for most of my life I was unable to perform on stage in the way that I knew I could. I was self conscious and felt frozen on stage, only able to perform 'musical tasks' and not free to move and dance. I had an important gig coming up, I wanted to create a visual and embodied performance, I wanted to feel free on stage and to be able to be free to imagine the spectacle.
I began to notice very quickly that I felt less stressed, less triggered by little things and more inclined towards a positive way of looking at my life. It helped me reframe who I am and where I am in life, it helped me be more ok with perimenopause, less resistant to change. I felt calmer and more at ease, able to have more fun and feel joy. I feel like I have more agency over how I feel. 
After the sessions I began to have clear images of my upcoming show, which had been blocked by fear before. The sessions with Kat freed up my creativity, my ability to play, to be open to ideas and ultimately to perform freely. On stage I felt free, alive and confident, able to move and perform unselfconsciously.
